About the Role
Are you interested in the fashion industry? This position as a sewist/seamstress will give you the opportunity to work on a wide range of garments with various levels of complexity. As you complete day-to-day alterations on customer clothing, you are also impacting the environment by helping customers to wear the clothing they already own longer.
WHILE EACH DAY IS DIFFERENT, YOU CAN EXPECT TO:
Use industrial sewing machines to hem, take in & let out clothing, etc to fulfill the customer’s requests for excellent fitting clothes. (Tasks will be assigned according to skill level)
Maintain a clean, organized workspace
Work with others in a cheerful atmosphere
PAY RANGE: $20 - $25, based on experience and skill level.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of sewing experience
Good communication skills, able to give and receive feedback for improvement
Attention to detail is a must
The ability to work under time constraints
Excellent hand-eye coordination
